Asters

Loved by bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects these late summer through to late autumn flowering perennials are a must for every garden.  

As cut flowers can last for over a week in a vase of water.

Grow in sun or partial shade.

Prefer well drained soil. 

Most of us still refer to this group as Asters or Michaelmas daisy despite many having name changes, we have kept them under the grouping of Asters but the individual names are now new within the group.
